Acorn ConTrols Pressure Reducing Valves Now Available

City of Industry, Calif. — April 1, 2024
Acorn ConTrols is introducing a line of Pressure Reducing Valves (PRVs).
The municipal line provides water at a pressure far too high for in-building-use. Pressure Reducing Valves (PRVs) lower the pressure down to an acceptable level. MGI ConTrols PRVs are capable of handling a uniquely high level of water pressure, eliminating the need to install multiple PRVs in a line, thereby minimizing failure points and installation time.
Acorn ConTrols PRVs come in a variety of sizes for different applications ranging from ½” to 2” in the RVO3 Series and 2-1/2” to 3” in the RVO3B Series. Additionally coming soon is a PRV model with an Integral “Y” Strainer, the YRV03 Series valve.
The line of PRVs also includes a Spool Kit and Check Valve. Spool Kits match the width of the PRV for use as a temporary spacer while testing of the piping for leaks and pressure loss and provide a means to flush piping systems prior to installing the PRV. Check Valves are designed to permit water flow in one direction only and protect against cross flow.
