5 Systems For Emergency Showers
Raleigh, North Carolina
The design engineer for a large pharmaceutical company in North Carolina, Novo Nordisk, identified the need for six digitally controlled emergency mixing stations based on a meeting with their local Acorn ConTrols® representative.
When Novo Nordisk learned about the BASyC® Digital Mixing Valve & Monitoring System, they were sold. They selected a BASyC system with ET71 emergency tempering valves and the design engineer notified the rep that he "will accept no alternative" to the BASyC system.
Key to their decision is the BASyC system's capability to regulate and monitor both master mixing valves and emergency tempering valves in one system. Every competitor system is limited by design decisions that make it difficult or extremely expensive to supply a digital monitoring for emergency tempering.
This single source opportunity resulted in a large Acorn ConTrols order and a wonderful cheerleader for the BASyC system and its ability to digitally regulate and monitor emergency mixing valves.
