The PNC Arena in Raleigh, home of the NHL’s Carolina Hurricanes, was undergoing a major upgrade. The local Acorn ConTrols® Rep, Heat Transfer Sales, introduced the design engineer to the BASyC® digital mixing valve and monitoring system. The engineer realized that the BASyC system had the capability to handle the automation the project required in a simple way and for a much lower cost than his other solutions. He also wanted automating alternating (backup) pump control, a solution we were simultaneously addressing for York Memorial Hospital. The result: a large order with no price haggling and no risk of losing the project to a competitor.
